Character Developments
It took me a one full year time to develop the concept of my animation, The Orange Rabbit. Below are some sketches of my rabbit characters. I am exploring some different shapes, emotions of the rabbit
After sketching all the possibilities that my character might has, then i proceed on experimenting colours for the rabbits
The first character here is the Grumpy Bunny. I want him to look serious, powerful and strong. I draw the Grumpy Bunny in different occupation, where i am going to select one character later to be used for my animation
Illustrations below is a short story of the grumpy characters bunny in four poses
This is the final character sheet for the Grumpy Bunny, in the end i chose the night Guard bunny as the antagonist character for my animation.
The Second Character here is Yang Yang, a little rabbit who is very cheerful and playful. I thought yellow or orange would match with his characteristic.
The Third Character i have here is You You, he is Yang's friend. He is a very pessimistic and sad rabbit. I thought blue colour would match with his personality.
The Last Character here is Yun Yun, she is very lovely and very girly. Here i chose pink colour shirt for her.
An animation that highlights the unhappiness and the feeling of insecurity created by the Guard to the villagers. In the animation, because of the power and the grumpy personality that the Guard has, the villagers are afraid of him and have to act polite and quiet whenever he is near. In his presence, the villagers are not be able to be themselves.

1000 Little Cranes
A short animation of about a 8 year old girl folding 1000 paper cranes to be put in every places where she went with her mother, hoping that her mother will read the message she writes on the paper cranes and come back home. The Story is inspired by a song titled 'Close to You' by the Carpenters.
